We had a fantastic time at the Propeller Club – Port of Tampa's Holiday Luncheon on December 15th — an afternoon of meaningful conversation, new relationships, and a genuine celebration of what makes Tampa Bay's maritime community so strong.

For GCS Industrial Group, Tampa represents a key piece of our Florida expansion. Port Tampa Bay is Florida's largest port by tonnage, with a diverse cargo base that includes phosphate, bulk agricultural products, cement, and break bulk — exactly the type of operations where GCS brings deep expertise. Events like the Propeller Club luncheon are how we invest in those relationships before a vessel ever arrives at berth.

An Evening with Tampa's Maritime Leaders

The event brought together port operators, shipping agents, logistics companies, civic leaders, and industry professionals from across the Tampa Bay region. The setting was festive and the conversations were substantive — real dialogue about the economic growth happening at Port Tampa Bay, the logistics challenges facing cargo owners and operators, and the opportunities ahead.

We were honored to be joined by Mayor Jane Castor, whose commitment to Tampa Bay's maritime economy and port development was evident in every conversation. It's rare to have a city's mayor so engaged with and enthusiastic about the port industry — and it reflects how central Port Tampa Bay is to the economic identity of the region.

Thank You, Richard & Stingray Maritime

A special thank you to Richard with Stingray Maritime for the invitation to join him at this event. The introduction to Tampa's Propeller Club community through Stingray was a meaningful gesture, and it speaks to the collaborative spirit that defines the maritime industry at its best.

GCS's relationship with Stingray Maritime goes deeper than a single event — it reflects a shared commitment to building professional, safety-first stevedoring operations in the Florida market, and we're proud of the partnership we've developed.

The Propeller Club brings together the people who move Tampa Bay's economy — and we're proud to be part of that conversation.

GCS Industrial Group — Florida Expansion Team

GCS & Tampa Bay

GCS Industrial Group is actively developing its presence in the Florida market, with Port Tampa Bay as a primary focus alongside Port Jacksonville and Port Manatee. Our Gulf Coast expertise in break bulk cargo — cement supersacks, bulk aggregates, fertilizers, and specialty commodities — translates directly to the cargo base moving through Tampa Bay.

Events like the Propeller Club luncheon are how we show up, build trust, and demonstrate that GCS is here for the long term. Thank you to the Propeller Club – Port of Tampa for bringing together local leaders and industry professionals, and for your commitment to economic growth and community partnership in the Tampa Bay region.
